Ply
Ideal for both residential and light/temporary construction, ply refers to boards made from thin sheets of veneer made from debarked lumber. These sheets are glued together to give the board increased strength and stability. Ply is commonly used to provide support for floors, walls, roofs, and more.

HardBoard
Popularly known as ‘Celotex’, this wood-based sheeting has a smooth side and a rough side. This is most often used in the construction of concrete form for arches, wall partitioning, ceilings, roofing and in furniture-making.

Cement Board
Made from a combination of cement and other reinforcing fibres, cement board is typically used as a tile backing board. This can be attached to wood or steel studs to create a substrate for vertical tiles, or installed horizontally to plywood for tile floors, kitchen counters and backsplashes. It is quite a versatile material, and can also be used for exterior construction as a base for exterior plaster (stucco) or as the finish itself.
